Working with Clarka has been wonderful!  She has taken the time to get to know me personally, which has allowed our working relationship to be more of a friendship.  She has asked the right questions and truly listened to know my strengths and fears in performing.  Her encouragement and support have allowed my confidence to truly soar!

As I signed up for my first USA pageant, I was not confident with my interview skills and definitely did not know how to walk gracefully in 6 inch heels! After training sessions with Clarka, I learned not only how walk with grace and confidence but also how to show personality to the judges in interview. Clarka helped me bring my personality into every phase of competition and taught me the importance of confidence in competition, which brings results as in my last pageant: I won best interview award!

Working with Clarka truly helped me grow my strengths while reducing my weaknesses. She put a plan into place to help develop me on a personal level, and I saw myself grow leaps and bounds throughout our sessions together. Not only is Clarka my interview coach, she has made it a priority to let me know she could be there for me as a big sister as well. I can’t wait to keep working with her in the future!

Clarka has working with my daughter for merely four months, and in that time, my daughter’s vocal skill and confidence have grown tremendously! Clarka’s warmth, commitment, skill, and knowledge make her an ideal pageant coach.  She has pageant experience allowing her to have an authenticity that gave us immediate trust in her ability.  She has gone above and beyond to support my daughter: not just during sessions, but through texts, FaceTime calls, emails, and in-person meetings as well.  Clarka has taken the time to get to know us personally and continually demonstrates her support of my daughter’s success.

I had the pleasure of having Clarka coach my 11-year-old daughter, Ann, for voice lessons. Clarka made my daughter feel very comfortable and challenged her to do her best while also improving Ann’s self-confidence. My daughter has learned many skills throughout their sessions and continues to quote Clarka’s advice today.

I began my pageant journey in 7th grade competing at my middle school pageant. A complete novice in pageantry, I went into that competition knowing nothing about interview, hair & make-up, or even what to wear for each phase. At the conclusion of the pageant, I walked away with nothing but a learning experience… After just one year of working with Clarka, I won the overall title of my school the next year and was crowned Miss Walmira 2013! I continued to work with Clarka for the next 3 years, and she has helped me grow immensely in my pageant career and truly as a person as well. I recently competed for the title of Miss South Carolina Teen for the first time and walked away with a Preliminary Evening Gown Award and placed in the Top 10 due greatly to the skills and experience I’ve gained with Clarka’s guidance! I cannot even begin to thank her enough for the amazing impact she’s had on my journey!
